Salary Notes
2014-15
  • Joakim Noah's base salary is $12,200,000. However, since he has performance bonuses currently classified as "likely to be achieved", his cap figure is $12,700,000.
  • Cameron Bairstow is a second round draft pick and has not signed yet, so the rookie minimum salary is listed. It is almost guaranteed that he will sign for the rookie minimum salary.
  • Rip Hamilton was waived by the Bulls on July 10, 2013. Using the NBA's stretch provision, his cap hit was spread out over three seasons to cover the $1 million his contract was guaranteed for.
  • Aaron Brooks signed for the veteran's minimum, and the actual salary for a 6-year veteran is what he will earn. Since he is on a one-year contract, the league will pay the portion of his salary over the minimum salary for a two-year veteran ($915,243).
  • Doug McDermott has not signed his contract yet, so technically he currently has a cap hold of $1,898,300 (his rookie scale salary). When he signs, it will be for 120% of the scale, and that is the amount that is listed. Those numbers are not official yet, which is why you won't find them on any other sites yet, but there is basically no chance that those numbers will be different when he does sign.
